Mary Beacon

My paintings have evolved as a means of expressing my life-long love for dogs and all animals. Sharing my life with dogs has made me constantly aware of the human-animal bond and how important they are to our own experiences. It is my hope that my paintings will reflect the joy we share in our journeys with our fur friends and inspire gratitude and compassion for all living things.

Mary is a member of The Society of Animal Artist's. She participates in many shows and exhibitions of animal art and has had her artwork featured in several publications such as the American Kennel Club Gazette, Canine Images, and North Light Art Magazine. Her artwork has won major awards at the prestigious "Art Show at the Dog Show" in Wichita, Kansas.  In addition, her work has been exhibited at the Wildlife Experience Museum, The American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog, the Kentucky Derby Museum and the International Museum of the Horse.

Mary has studied art at the Chicago Art Institute, The Scottsdale Artists School and at The Denver Art Student's League.
